Abdominal liposuction for a 25-year-old patient with minimal skin laxity

Abdominal liposuction before and six months after surgery

The patient was 25 years old, 153 cm tall and weighed 53.2 kg, with a BMI of 23.

Liposuction was performed on the full abdomen, under-breast area, waist and lower back. The treatment was designed as a continuous 360-degree contour.

Because skin elasticity and recovery differ between patients, treatment suitability must be assessed during consultation.

Preoperative design and approximately 3,000 cc of removed fat

Preoperative liposuction design and removed fat

The abdomen, under-breast area, waist and lower back were marked as one continuous treatment area.

Approximately 3,000 cc was removed. The upper-abdominal measurement was 73.5 cm and the lower-abdominal measurement was 86 cm before surgery.

Right oblique view at six months

Right oblique abdominal liposuction comparison

The upper abdomen decreased from 73.5 cm to 64.5 cm, while the lower abdomen decreased from 86 cm to 70 cm.

This represents a 9 cm reduction above the navel and a 16 cm reduction in the lower abdomen.

Liposuction involves more than removing volume. The treated layers and cannula movement must be carefully controlled to create a smooth surface.

Preventing irregularities and tissue adhesion during the initial operation is important because these problems can be difficult to correct later.

Front view at six months

Front abdominal liposuction comparison

The front view shows clear waist definition and a balanced abdominal contour.

VASER® was used with consideration for skin contraction. Individual outcomes and the degree of skin tightening vary.

Left-side view at six months

Left-side abdominal liposuction comparison

The patient was photographed standing normally and was not instructed to pull in the abdomen.

The side view shows reduced abdominal projection and a smoother line from the under-breast area to the lower abdomen.

Right-side view at six months

Right-side abdominal liposuction comparison

The result appears smooth and natural from the side, without prominent indentation or adhesion.

Reducing lower-back fat also improves the transition from the back to the hips.

Rear oblique view at six months

Rear oblique liposuction comparison

From the rear, the treatment emphasized the transition from the waist into the hips.

The fat previously extending over the swimwear line was reduced, producing a cleaner contour.

Rear view at six months

Rear liposuction comparison

The rear view shows a smooth waist-to-hip contour.

Swelling, bruising and recovery time vary between patients. A medical consultation is required to determine the appropriate treatment and risks.
